Dominikanska Republika

Dominikanska Republika zavzema dve tretjini otoka Hispaniola. Na zahodu meji na Haiti, na severu na Atlantik, na vzhodu in jugu pa na Karibsko morje. Površina znaša 48.500km2, ima približno 3.5 mio. prebivalcev. Rajski predel Karibov s španskim navdihom, tropskimi ritmi in zanimivo zgodovino. Zelena, tropska vegetacija, bleščeče bele in zlatorumene peščene plaže, kristalno čisto, turkizno modro morje, koralni grebeni, tihi zalivi, visoke gorske verige, globoke globeli in razkošen ptičji paradiž, edinstveni vtisi - tukaj doživite še skorajda nedotaknjeno naravo.


Puerto Plata

Vzhodno in zahodno od Puerto Plate se raztezajo dolge, zlate peščene plaže, ki so zelo obiskane, a so kljub temu obdržale svoj tipičen karibski navdih. Tukaj se nahajajo tipične dominikanske restavracije, kjer vam pripravijo sveže ribe, pravkar vzete iz ribiške mreže.
