Podnebje je tropsko oceansko z enakomernimi tropskimi temperaturami skozi vse leto.Deževno obdobje traja od decembra do marca, takrat padavine prinaša severozahodni monsun, v drugem delu leta prevladujejo jugovzhodni pasati. Največ padavin pade na vzhodni stani hribovitih otokov. Vso leto je primerno za potovanje. Nekoliko hladnejše obdobje je od maja do septembra. Meseci brez dežja so maj, junij, julij in avgust, september in oktober.


Praslin

Približno uro vožnje s hitrim čolnom iz otoka Mahe. Je drugi največji otok in narodni park Valle de Mai je znan predvsem potem, da na njem raste unikatni morski kokos oziroma dvojni kokos ter da je otok pod zaščitno Unesca. Posebnost kokosa 'coco de mer' je, da zori kar 30 let in da ima obline ženskega telesa. Na tako imenovanem otoku palm boste našli tudi dve izmed najlepših sejšelskih plaž, Anse Lazi in Cote d Ore ter slavno črno papigo.
